Cyril Maccioni encarna a una nueva generación de artistas que valoran la identidad de sus obras al tiempo que añaden esa innegable nota contemporánea.
Cyril descubrió su pasión por la creación a una edad muy temprana. Durante varios años, su afán de aprender y superarse le permitió adquirir ciertos conocimientos. Su trayectoria profesional, que puede calificarse de atípica, ilustra claramente su filosofía. Licenciado por la Universidad de Córcega, sucesivamente bombero y modelo profesional, su inspiración procede de su tierra natal, Córcega, y de sus viajes por el mundo. A lo largo de sus experiencias y encuentros, no pierde de vista su sueño: dedicarse plenamente a la creación.
Este sueño lo tocó con la punta de los dedos en 2014, cuando empezó a desarrollar su propio taller en la región de Bastia, en Haute-Corse.
Inicialmente fabricante de diseño, manipula y ensambla materiales que le fascinan desde hace mucho tiempo: hormigón, madera, acero, vidrio y, más recientemente, materiales compuestos que le han dado el deseo de pasar a la escultura.
Cada una de sus obras monumentales existe en un solo ejemplar.
Autodidacta, sensible y curioso, Cyril Maccioni es un artista libre que no pone límites a su enfoque creativo.
En la actualidad, el artista se ha volcado de lleno en la escultura para hacer de ella un vehículo capaz de transmitir su mensaje sobre el maltrato de los animales y, más en general, sobre la extinción de las especies animales y la salud del planeta.
En efecto, el artista nos muestra, mediante la elección de privarles de sus ojos, que estos animales han sacrificado una parte de sí mismos para hacernos reaccionar ante su condición, para incitarnos a “ver” y convencernos así del daño que les infligimos y, al mismo tiempo, señala con el dedo la paradoja de nuestra sociedad basada en la imagen y el consumo excesivo ya que utiliza lo que brilla y atrae la mirada esta vez con el objetivo de alertar y no consumir en exceso.
La elección del color negro, deseada por el artista por varias razones, acentúa el reflejo de la luz sobre la obra (el negro es el color que se encuentra bajo el espejo, es también el color del luto, es el color más delicado de conseguir porque tiene la propiedad de reflejar y hacer muy visible el más mínimo defecto, y aquí, delante de la escultura, el defecto es efectivamente el Hombre.
La paradoja de la imagen, la utilización de la palabra “reflejo” en los dos sentidos del término (reflejo y pensamiento) y la cuestión del sacrificio revelado por el color negro, “trascendiendo la materia” es ante todo el resultado de una introspección del artista, cuyo resultado final reside en una exhortación a la agudeza visual.
Craig Alan nació en 1971 en San Bernardino, California. Aunque siempre se sintió atraído por el arte, su creatividad se desarrolló realmente cuando su familia se trasladó a Nueva Orleans de niño. Su intensa necesidad de conocimiento y cultura alimentó su capacidad de interpretación visual detallada. Inspirado por el entusiasmo de la ciudad por la expresión creativa, comenzó a explorar sus propios impulsos innovadores.
Su primer intento fue un retrato callejero, que le ayudó a perfeccionar su don para reproducir la figura humana y le permitió a este artista en ciernes asegurarse económicamente. A partir de entonces, ahorrando sus ganancias, pudo pagar sus estudios y los materiales necesarios para sus logros artísticos. Aunque siempre quiso seguir una forma de arte formal, Alan continuó desarrollándose técnica y conceptualmente a través de su propia investigación.
Durante su segundo año de universidad en Alabama, Alan comenzó a formarse en arte. Su entusiasmo por los estudios le impulsó rápidamente a la fama. Con un énfasis en el arte de estudio, Alan ganó un premio de la industria por “Excelencia Académica”. La exposición más prestigiosa de su universidad, “Art with a Southern Drawl”, contó con 42 de sus obras de entre más de 1.600 presentadas.
Una concentración menor en el mundo del teatro también ha diversificado su trabajo, permitiéndole complementar su experiencia con técnicas adicionales de maquillaje y escenografía. Esta mezcla de influencias y de medios muy diferentes queda patente en cada una de sus obras, mostrando su amplio conocimiento y aprecio por la forma humana y el colorido mundo que ocupan estos seres. Combinando sus habilidades en texturas, matices y composiciones elaboradas, el trabajo de Alan revela una verdadera sofisticación técnica, así como una elaborada imaginación. Su obra oscila entre el expresionismo abstracto y el realismo gráfico obsesivo, y cada una refleja la visión única de su creador. Su carrera es la culminación de los conocimientos artísticos de los libros de texto, combinados con un agudo sentido estético que no desarrolló a través de una escolarización intensiva, sino en los recovecos de su brillante mente.
Craig Alan expone su obra por todo Estados Unidos, donde se ha consolidado en el mundo de las artes visuales.
Nacido en Narbona en 1987, Aiiroh es un artista francés.
Empieza muy joven a grafitear en las estaciones de varias ciudades, lugar donde los artistas tienen fácil acceso a inmensos muros. Poco a poco, a principios de los años 2000, aprende a trabajar como artista de la plantilla, lo que le permite avanzar más rápidamente en la calle, y descubre gracias a un amigo el trabajo de cartelistas como Raymond Hains, Villeglé, Dufrêne y Rotella.
Esto último se convertiría en una verdadera obsesión para el artista. “Me inspiro mucho en este movimiento, que para mí tiene una gran dimensión poética. A veces me paso noches enteras dando vueltas para encontrar y arrancar el cartel que me gusta.
Creo que aporto un toque de optimismo y color y no me gusta politizar demasiado mi trabajo, pero hoy más que nunca mi práctica artística como cartelista encuentra un eco en la exposición de 1961 de Hains que me tocó mucho: “La France déchirée”. En algunas de sus obras, integra marcas para recordar la dependencia que el ser humano tiene de los productos de consumo. La anarquía del goteo, la turbulencia de las composiciones surgen en contraste con las líneas puras de los gráficos de los logotipos de la marca, pero también del famoso AMOR del artista estadounidense Indiana.
¿La fuerza gráfica de estos logotipos tiene también un efecto en nuestro inconsciente colectivo y en nuestros códigos estéticos? Desde hace varios años, Aiiroh expone en varias galerías de Europa, así como en la escena internacional (Suiza, Italia, Reino Unido, Grecia, Isrëal, Estados Unidos, Singapur, Hong Kong, Japón).
“Gracias a Banksy y, antes que él, a Blek le Rat, los jóvenes artistas callejeros como yo pueden tener una visibilidad que antes no habrían tenido. Las obras que antes estaban destinadas a unos pocos transeúntes en un oscuro y oscuro callejón, ahora pueden ser vistas por las masas.
Las redes sociales, especialmente Instagram, también tienen un papel importante en el auge y la explosión del arte callejero. Me defino como un artista callejero, pero también como un artista pop, en el sentido original de “popular”, que da vida a la cultura de la calle. Me gusta ironizar y jugar con las referencias e iconos que tocan a mi generación y hacerlos comunicar. Por todo ello, intento mantener un espíritu de amor y optimismo”.
Cédric Bouteiller nació en 1970 en Rognac, Francia. Vive y trabaja en el sur de Francia.
Bouteiller estudió artes plásticas y filosofía en la Universidad de Aix-en-Provence antes de viajar a Nueva York, Londres, París, Tokio y Shanghai.
Ha estado cerca del movimiento Street Art desde 2009, cuando Bouteiller expuso en la Galería DX de Burdeos. Del arte callejero, el artista toma los símbolos, los grafitis, las plantillas y los carteles. Sus obras se enriquecen con imágenes impresas en aluminio cepillado, realzadas con collages, dibujos o etiquetas cubiertas con una resina translúcida. Su expresión artística es una mezcla de diferentes técnicas, una fusión entre la fotografía moderna, la pintura contemporánea, el grafiti, el retoque digital y el collage.
Anthony Tàpies y Pierre Alechinsky forman parte de las inspiraciones de Cedric Bouteiller. Fue en Arles donde el artista también se fascinó con Picasso y descubrió la influencia literaria de Cocteau.

Originario de Reunión y Guadalupe, Jean-Marc Hunt nació en 1975 en Estrasburgo (Francia). Creció en los suburbios, donde se hizo un hueco en el mundo del grafiti y la música rap. Instalado en Guadalupe desde hace quince años, registró una obra de estilo figurativo neoexpresionista.
Pintor y artista plástico, procede por series, acumulación y desvío. Su obra se basa a menudo en la economía de medios, evocando un estado de emergencia con un registro irónico. Invitado regularmente a exposiciones colectivas y residencias, le gusta aventurarse en proyectos de instalación y escultura monumental. Desde 2005, también se ha distinguido en la escenografía y el comisariado, en particular con los proyectos unificadores de artes visuales que inicia.
En enero de 2015, fue promovido al rango de caballero de la Orden de las Artes y las Letras por el Ministerio de Cultura y Comunicación de la República Francesa.

Mateo es un artista francés afincado en Montreal. Después de 10 años de pintar en las calles del mundo, Mateo ha estudiado y utilizado el arte de la ornamentación en la mayoría de sus obras. Pintar sobre una alfombra constituye un puente coherente entre su práctica al aire libre y en interiores. Tradicionalmente tejidas por mujeres, estas alfombras se colocan horizontalmente en el suelo para ser pisadas. En este caso, la posición de la alfombra se invertirá y se mostrará en vertical para representar el rostro de una mujer fuerte con la piel ornamentada. El diseño y el simbolismo de una alfombra oriental suelen dejar perplejo al aficionado occidental. En todo Oriente, los tejidos se adornan con motivos cuyo origen se remonta al pasado más antiguo. La cuestión del simbolismo ha dado lugar a una gran controversia. Sin embargo, algunas piezas están obviamente cargadas de un mensaje filosófico cuidadosamente formulado, así como de símbolos totémicos, tribales o espirituales. Al añadir un lado humano a los tejidos tradicionales, estas obras tocan nuestro ser más profundo, nuestra conciencia universal, cuestionan nuestra identidad cultural, actualmente canibalizada por la estandarización y la cultura de masas. Podríamos llamarlo la pérdida de la tradición en las sociedades occidentales, estamos perdiendo el vínculo con el conocimiento ancestral, la sabiduría de nuestros mayores y la transmisión de sus conocimientos.
Onemizer nació en 1987 en el sur de Francia.
Pasó parte de su infancia en África, donde tuvo sus primeros encuentros con el arte y descubrió la acuarela. De vuelta a Francia, cuando era adolescente, conoció los grafitis parisinos durante sus paseos por París con sus padres. Los laterales de las autopistas y los metros de París son para él verdaderos museos. Este verdadero amor a primera vista le empuja a inspeccionar más tarde los descampados, así como los ferrocarriles y los almacenes en desuso, para pintar en las paredes y mejorar al abrigo de las miradas.
Después del instituto, decide estudiar arte ingresando en una escuela de diseño, pero prefiere seguir su camino como autodidacta. Poco a poco, pasa de la pared al lienzo, y es empujado por su entorno, que empieza a mostrar su obra y a exponer sus cuadros según sus reuniones en hoteles de lujo, restaurantes, bares…
Onemizer participó con un centenar de artistas internacionales en el récord mundial del mayor grafiti sobre lienzo que tuvo lugar en Dubái en noviembre de 2014 y que fue validado para aparecer en el libro Guiness.
Onemizer se inspira en clásicos del arte pop como Basquiat, Warhol… y también simplemente en su vida cotidiana, en lo que le rodea y en la escena del arte callejero. Le gusta trabajar con letras, revisar retratos de personalidades u objetos que han marcado la historia o su historia personal. Con el tiempo, ha desarrollado una amplia gama de estilos diferentes, siempre combinando el grafiti, el tagging, los “coulures” y, sobre todo, una multitud de colores. Utiliza una amplia gama de técnicas diferentes: pintura en aerosol, plantillas, dibujos, posca, pinceles, tinta y, a veces, incluso sus manos. Soyz Bank es un artista pop autodidacta nacido en 1988 en el sur de Francia. Ha desarrollado su técnica de resina plegada a lo largo de los años, su inspiración es ilimitada; le resulta interesante sacar a la luz objetos cotidianos.

Sinao nació en Nueva York en 1981.
Aunque se le considera un artista callejero emergente, lleva trabajando en murales desde principios de los 80.
Le gusta que su arte se muestre en materiales de la calle y lienzos apenas usados. Se ha visto influenciado por la obra de Blek y Banksy. La mayoría de las veces se puede ver a su conejo (de Alicia en el País de las Maravillas) embelleciendo las calles de todas las capitales de Estados Unidos y la UE.
Como todos los verdaderos artistas callejeros, Sinao ha tratado de permanecer en el anonimato en la medida de lo posible, por lo que sólo se muestra con una máscara negra de médico de la peste.
Para los murales de mayor tamaño, pedirá ayuda a los artistas reunidos en el colectivo franco-americano “Mindthegap”.
Su obra ya ha sido expuesta en muchas galerías y acaba de empezar las subastas en 2019.

Stéphane Braud, nacido en Libourne en 1955, está considerado hoy en día como uno de los mayores pintores submarinos del mundo. También se le conoce como el “pescador azul”.

Autodidacta, Stéphane Braud comenzó a pintar a los 19 años y viajó a Noruega, Alemania y Túnez, donde encontró su inspiración. Su técnica favorita es la acuarela en el acto.

En perpetua búsqueda, Chloé B. soñaba con que sus collages desbordantes de energía colorista, tan lúdicos y gráficos, tomaran vida y relieve en la tradición de los maestros del pop-art. Ha reelaborado cada tema, “boca”, “corazón” o “caramelo” para que cada uno de los 80 elementos de cada pieza exista individualmente en corte láser. Para que los colores tengan toda su fuerza y sus matices, la impresión se ha realizado mediante el proceso de “sublimación”, lo que garantiza que duren casi siempre.
El resultado es espectacular, cada obra se convierte en una escultura mural en bajorrelieve en metal cortado, con un efecto de relieve 3D en 7 capas, donde se sublima así cada marca, carácter u onomatopeya.
Cada escultura es una pieza original estrictamente limitada a 8 + 4 copias, cada una numerada y firmada a mano por el artista.
Chloé B., nacida en 1979, vive y trabaja en París.
Formado en diseño y arte, el joven artista perfeccionó sus habilidades pictóricas con sus maestros. Rápidamente se emancipó de las técnicas enseñadas por sus maestros explorando sus propias percepciones de los objetos y los volúmenes, creando así su firma.
El artista estructura formas, colores y materiales. Congela el movimiento en abundantes líneas. Un orden desestructurado. En un hábil juego de luces y sombras, maneja con fruición la impertinencia de su concepción dialéctica del vicio y el candor.
En sus “instalaciones”, producciones monocromas y figurativas, el artista juega con las limitaciones físicas para dar vida a los espacios. Una sutil dosis estética, sensual y percusiva.
Llevando las paradojas aún más lejos, en la serie “Rompiendo el cristal”, el artista confronta la imaginación de la infancia con el descaro de la edad adulta. Nos ofrece una realidad onírica, animada por impulsos más o menos reprobables.
El artista transmite, a través de sus producciones, la sensación de una profunda libertad, casi anónima, en la que cada uno puede encontrarse, o perderse… Nos revela un universo cercano, siempre en el límite de lo real y lo desconocido. Un concentrado de vida que nos insufla en sobredosis.

Se trata de la obra emblemática de la artista, influenciada por la relación fusional que mantuvo con su abuelo. Según sus inspiraciones, nacen nuevas colecciones, divertidos pájaros con cuerpos ovoides. Tonos alegres, colores francos o acidulados. El bestiario tratado con mucho humor y al igual que “sus polluelos”, la artista prescinde de los detalles para ir sólo a lo esencial.
Las Nanas
Sus esculturas o dibujos son el reflejo, los estigmas de heridas irreversibles: mujeres con pies exageradamente pesados que sostienen un cuerpo frágil; modelados alargados aureolados por dos coletas tortuosas, expresan una alegría de corazón, que sólo las dificultades dejan a su paso.
Valérie MARTY, artista ecléctica, ha encontrado su camino, el que lleva a la plenitud y por nada del mundo volvería atrás.

Artista de renombre, Karl Lagasse se dio a conocer en 2009 gracias a sus esculturas de un dólar. Ese mismo año, Artprice lo clasificó entre los diez mejores escultores del mundo menores de 30 años. En 2012, la publicación neoyorquina Farameh le nombró uno de los cincuenta mejores artistas contemporáneos que se inspiran en los iconos tradicionales estadounidenses en su libro FOR WHICH IT STANDS:Americana in Contemporary Art. Más recientemente, en la Feria de Arte de París de 2016, el Presidente de la República Francesa felicitó personalmente a Karl por el éxito de su bronce de 2 metros, One Dollar, expuesto en el Grand Palais.
Karl comenzó su andadura artística con collages a los 7 años. Ese año, su encuentro con el escultor francés César Baldaccini le empujó a seguir en esta dirección. Más tarde, se aventuró en el metro parisino, y el etiquetado y el grafiti se convirtieron en su modo de expresión preferido. A pesar de ello, los collages siguieron siendo su verdadera pasión. Fue el artista Yvaral Vasarely quien le sugirió que integrara sus etiquetas en sus collages. En 2003, Karl preparó su primera exposición en París. Sobre todo, a Karl le gusta desvelar sus nuevas obras en exposiciones internacionales: en 2011, en el salón Art Monaco, fue representado por la galería Bel Air Fine Art, con su creación Cryptogram One; en 2012, presentó One Dollar sobre el tema “In God We Trust” en una exposición individual en la galería Artco France; en 2016, su exposición individual en la galería Atrium, en Marbella (España), fue inaugurada por el alcalde de la ciudad, que habló de sus obras a la prensa internacional.
En 2010, Karl fue elegido para representar a la ciudad de Deauville (Normandía) en el Campeonato Mundial de Hípica de Lexington (EE.UU.), para lo que creó una escultura de un caballo en honor al evento. De vuelta a Deauville, en 2012, Karl ofreció a la ciudad el Criptograma Uno, una escultura de bronce con un mensaje de paz y amor, que fue instalada en la entrada de la ciudad e inaugurada por el alcalde, Philippe Augier. En un artículo publicado en 2016 en el que se citaba, entre otros prestigiosos artistas, a Jeff Koons, France Culture mencionaba a Karl Lagasse y su instalación monumental, titulada Un pedazo de cielo en la tierra. Esta instalación consiste en un Maserati cubierto de una película de plástico blanco y una estatua de Jesucristo, a cuyos pies varias esculturas de dólares representan el pago de la mayor deuda de la humanidad. Se había presentado en la feria de arte Art Paris 2015, en colaboración con el fabricante italiano de coches de lujo. Madrid based photographer Miguel Vallinas Prieto began his “Segundas Pieles” (“Second Skins”) series with the intention of ‘investigating the animal in us all’. This whimsical photo series sees various animals dressed in contemporary outfits, posing as typical human models would. The clothes appear to match their personalities, acting as a true second skin.
Miguel Vallinas Prieto also attempts to depict the way he imagined different animals would dress if they had the ability to, Vallinas plays off our preconceived ideas of what our clothing choices signify and what we may, even subconsciously, believe about certain animals, certain people and ourselves.
Unsurprisingly, Miguel didn’t actually wrestle a roll-neck onto a swan or sweet-talk a hippopotamus into donning a Barbour. The taxidermied specimens are photographed in various museums and private collections, while each outfit is modelled by volunteers in Miguel’s studio. The two images are then spiced together by the artist.
Christophe Tixier, also know as Peppone is a 45 years old artist living near Aix-en-Provence.
Bulimic collector, he counts among his treasures about 500 albums of Tintin’s adventures, of which some have only few dusty pages left. He feeds his collection with what he finds in car boot sales, municipal libraries sales or even with what friends and strangers bring him. Thus from a place of dreams and travels, the adventures of Tintin are also a place of encounter for Peppone.
But this treasure is mostly his Proust’s Madeleine since his first copies of Tintin came from his father when he died. The character of Tintin became a cornerstone in his balance that allowed him to cultivate his relation with his father and protect himself against a form of “artistic situation”.
His Tintin has taken forms that he creates in his workshop by pruning his paper heritage.

Cédric Bouteiller was born in 1970, in Rognac, France. He lives and works in the South of France.
Bouteiller studied plastic arts and philosophy at the University of Aix-en-Provence, before starting to travel around in New York, London, Paris, Tokyo and Shanghai.
In 2009, when he exhibited in the Galerie DX in Bordeaux, he gets closer to the Street Art. From this form of Art, Cédric Bouteiller takes symbols, graffiti, stencils and posters. His artworks are composed by printed images, collages, drawings and tags on brush aluminium covered with a translucent resin. His artistic expression is a combination of different techniques, a mixture of modern photographic perspective, contemporary painting, graffiti, digital art and collage.
The inspiration of Cédric Bouteiller comes from Anthony Tàpies and Pierre Alechinsky. When he moved to Arles, he also focuses on Picasso art and Cocteau literature.

Craig Alan was born in 1971 in San Bernardino, California. Though always drawn to art, Alan’s creativity did not fully develop until his family transferred to New Orleans as a child. The vivacious culture nur- tured Alan’s capacity for detailed visual interpretation. Inspired by the city’s enthusiasm for creative ex- pression, he began exploring his own innovative impulses.
Alan’s earliest experimentation took the form of street portraiture, an endeavour that helped him perfect his flair for replicating the human figure and afforded the budding artist a sense of economic security. He saved his portrait earnings to pay for school and art supplies. Though he always planned to pursue a formal art education, Alan continued to develop technically and conceptually through his own diligent studies.
During his sophomore year at the University of Mobile, Alabama, Alan undertook vigorous training in art. His enthusiasm for his studies immediately propelled him into the scholastic limelight. With a focus on studio arts, Alan earned an area award for academic excellence. The University’s most prestigious exhi- bition, “Art with a Southern Drawl,” featured 42 of Alan’s pieces, chosen from a field of more than 1,600 submissions.
A minor concentration in theater further diversified Alan’s craft, imbuing him with additional techniques in makeup and set design. This blending of disparate influences and media is visually apparent in all of Alan’s works, which demonstrate a broad knowledge and appreciation of the human form as well as the colorful world these beings occupy. Combining his skills into elaborate textures, hues and compositions, Alan’s artwork reveals a technical sophistication as well as an elaborate imagination.
Alan’s collections run the gamut from abstract expressionism to haunting, graphic realism, each one a reflection of its creator’s unique vision. His prolific career is a culmination of artistic knowledge and a keen aesthetic sense, one developed not through intensive schooling but deep within recesses of this artist’s brilliant mind.
Craig Alan’s art is exhibited across North America and in Europe where he has established himself as a singular voice in the visual arts industry.
Craig Alan is an artist with a restless eye, pushing the boundaries of visual expression without constraints. Alan’s body of work references numerous styles from pop-surrealism to magic realism to neo expressionist abstraction and representation. His most recent work, which he refers to as the Populus series, steps out- side the tropes of those well-worn formal enterprises with strikingly original images created from hundreds of tiny figures on a white ground.
At first glance the paintings look like aerial photographs, though a closer inspection reveals that they are painstakingly hand-painted. The images had their genesis in some photos Alan was taking of a wedding party from a high-rise balcony. “Later on that evening I noticed, in one shot, the group of people appeared to have formed an eye. That’s all it took to get the gears moving fast, that one photo is what started it all,” according to Alan.
“Each piece will contain a range of 400 to 1,800 people in it depending on the type of work it is,” says Alan. The creative process is labor intensive: “I can spend anywhere up to 150 working hours and beyond on one section of a painting depending on the size however, I like to work on more than one painting at a time, I like the challenge, and it sparks new ideas.”
These images have a real “wow” factor to them that comes from the realization that the larger picture is composed of so many intricately rendered figures. “It’s rewarding for me as an artist to watch people’s re- action to my work and to see them get such enjoyment out of it,” says Alan. He hopes that viewers of these paintings will realize “that we are all part of something greater than ourselves, and if we work together, we could achieve greater balance . . . not in a religious sense but rather a universal sense.”
Alan’s other work is entirely different from the Populus series. In the series referred to as Novel Anthology, Alan uses a combination of traditional representational techniques to create literal visual metaphors, por- traying children and animals and anthropomorphic images as well lingering in the deep woods and dark interiors. In other images the figure has been removed, leaving ghostly dresses floating on atmospheric grounds Alan prides himself on his eclectic creative process, which is reminiscent of an “old-school” post- modern approach to painting.
According to Alan he isn’t really working from this type of conceptual base; rather he’s simply utilizing a myr- iad of creative approaches to keep his painting fresh. “I am a student of the arts and will be until I pass,” says Alan. “I love to study and practice technique. These paintings are an extension of the abilities be- stowed upon me.”
Originally from Réunion and Guadeloupe, Jean-Marc Hunt was born in 1975 in Strasbourg (France). He grew up in the suburbs, where he made his mark in the world of graffiti and rap music. Installed in Guadeloupe for fifteen years, he registered a work with a neo-expressionist figurative style.
Painter and plastic artist, he proceeds by series, accumulation and diversion. His work is often based on the economy of means, evoking a state of emergency with an ironic register. Regularly invited to group exhibitions and residencies, he likes to venture into installation and monumental sculpture projects. Since 2005, he has also distinguished himself in scenography and curating, in particular with the unifying projects in visual arts that he initiates.
In January 2015, he was promoted to the rank of knight of the Order of Arts and Letters by the Ministry of Culture and Communication of the French Republic.

The acclaimed artist Karl Lagasse came into prominence in 2009 with his “One Dollar” sculptures. In 2009, Artprice named Karl as one of the top 10 sculptors under 30 in the world. In 2012 the New York publication Farameh selected Karl for their book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art in which he is represented as one of the fifty best contemporary artists who found inspiration through traditional American icons. During the 2016 Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic personally congratulated Karl for the success of his 2-meter bronze “One Dollar” sculpture displayed at the Grand Palais.
Karl began his artistic journey with his collages when he was 7 years old. In the same year, he met the French sculptor César Baldaccini who inspired Karl to continue developing his work. He ventured into the Paris metro where tagging and graffiti became his predominant world of creation. However, his collages remained his true passion. It was the artist Yvaral Vasarely that suggested Karl incorporate his collages with his tags, and in 2003 Karl prepared his first exposition in Paris. His first solo show presenting his “Building” sculptures was in 2006 at the Isy Brachot Gallery in Brussels. Two years later, at the Theatre Espace Pierre Cardin, Karl was back in Paris for his first solo show of paintings and sculptures with added elements of videography and photography.
Karl enjoys premiering his new works at expositions worldwide including: 2011 Art Monaco with Gallery Bel Air Fine Art where he presented his creation “Cryptogram One”; 2012 solo show with Gallery Artco France where he presented his “one dollar” sculptures with the chosen the theme “In God We Trust”; 2016 solo show Gallery Atrium in Marbella (Spain) where the city’s mayor inaugurated the exposition and spoke to the international press regarding the work of Karl Lagasse.
In 2010, Karl was chosen to represent the city of Deauville (Normandy) at the world riding championships Horsemania in Lexingston (USA) where he created a horse sculpture in honor of the events. Returning to Deauville in 2012, Karl offered the city his bronze “Cryptogram One” with a message of peace and love, which has been installed at the entrance of Deauville and was inaugurated by the mayor, Philippe Augier.
In 2012, Karl created a monumental sculpture for the 65th Festival of Cannes in collaboration with Corbis. France Culture in a 2016 article, amongst other prestigious artists, such as Jeff Koons, mentions Karl Lagasse and his monumental installation called “A Piece of Heaven on Earth”. The installation shows a Maserati covered in white plastic film with a sculpture of Jesus Christ at whose feet are several dollar sculptures together representing the greatest debt of humanity paid in full. The installation was presented at the 2015 Art Paris Art Fair in collaboration with the Italian luxury vehicle manufacturer Maserati. Maserati first contacted Karl for collaboration in 2014 at the worldwide launching of their new car model Ghibli.The Ghibli model was used by Karl in creating his masterpiece Psalm 2, which celebrated Maserati’s 100th year and was revealed at the 2014 Art Paris Art Fair.

After 10 years of painting in the streets of the world, Mateo has studied and used the art of ornamentation in most of his work. Paint on a carpet creates a coherent bridge between his practice outside and inside. Traditionally woven by women, these carpets are placed horizontally on the ground to walk on it. In this case, the position of the carpet will be reversed and displayed vertically to represent the face of a strong woman with ornamented skin. The design and symbolism of an oriental carpet often leave the western amateur puzzled. Across the East, ornamental patterns whose origins date back to the oldest past. The question of symbolism has given rise to much controversy. However, certain pieces are obviously loaded with a carefully formulated philosophical message as well as totemic, tribal or spiritual symbols. By adding a human element to a traditional carpet, these works touch our deep being, our universal consciousness, they question our cultural identity which is currently cannibalized by standardization and mass culture. We can call this the loss of tradition in Western societies, we lose the link with the ancestral knowledge, the wisdom of our elders and the transmission of their knowledge.
Onemizer was born in 1987 in the South of France.
He spent part of his childhood in Africa where he discovered art for the first time and watercolours. He moved back to France when he was a teenager, and discovered graffiti in the streets of Paris. The Paris metro and the highways and graffiti along the Parisian freeways were his museums. Later he started to paint in wastelands and in abandoned warehouses and little by little he perfected his technique.
After high school, he started to study art in a design school, but decided to rather continue teaching himself. Little by little, he started to paint on canvas, and to show his work in luxury hotels, restaurants or bars.
He has worked with one hundred other international artists to produce the biggest graffiti on canvas in Dubai in November 2014, which has been validated and will appear in the Guinness Book.
He takes inspiration from the classic pop artists such as Basquiat, Warhol… from his daily life, his surroundings, and from the street art scene. He likes to work on lettering, to revisit portraits of personalities or objects that have marked history or his personal history. Over time, Onemizer developed a wide range of different styles, combining graffiti, tags, drippings and especially a multitude of colours. He uses a wide range of techniques: spray paint, stencils, drawings, posca, brushes, ink, and sometimes even directly his hands. Onemizer constantly renews his art, likes to change techniques and supports… The visual impact and the clash of colours make each of his paintings more interesting than the last.
Onemizer had his first exhibitions in Bordeaux and in Paris. He came a long way since the debut of his career, and his work is shown today in numerous international galleries.

Mun-Gi Yang was born in 1970 in Gwangju, South Korea. He graduated from Fine Arts at Chosun University.
In 2012, the artist-sculptor presented Story of LUXURY STONE at the Okgwa Art Museum in South Korea. This exhibition revealed the special attention he pays to the meaning and symbolism of the luxury bag by exploiting the aesthetic potentialities of stone.
In this exhibition, 45 works proposed to question the nature of the object and the human being and the structure of social mechanisms in the elaboration of contemporary desires.
These Luxury stones, although appearing at first as parodic works on Chinese counterfeit bags of big brands such as Louis Vuitton or Chanel, go well beyond a simple imitation or representation of these objects. By the very characteristics of these stone objects, the useful function of the bag disappears.
By losing any functional character, the object is now transformed into a symbol object, an icon. Only the desire for possession, linked to the unique visual identity of each brand, is preserved. It is here sublimated by the stone, on the one hand polished and engraved as if it were a jewel, on the other hand retaining its raw and timeless nature proper to the statuary tradition.
The hijacking therefore concerns both the modern luxury object and the material. The weight of these Luxury stones suggests just as much the massive and fetishistic nature of the consumption of luxury brands in Asia, as the human sacrifices implied by the process of production and acquisition of luxury goods. These works question the dull persistence, through the modern market economy, of a whole tradition of constraints and imperatives related to social success.
Sinao was born in NYC in 1981.
Although considered an emergent street artist, he has been working on murals since the early 1980’s.
He loves his art to be shown on materials from the streets and barely used canvases. He has been influenced by the work of Blek and Banksy. Most of the time, you can see his rabbit (from Alice in Wonderland) embellishing the streets everywhere in US and EU capitals.
Like all real street artists, Sinao has been trying to stay undercover and anonymous as much as possible, so he only shows himself with a black plague doctor mask.
For larger murals, he will ask help from artists that are united under the French/American collectif “Mindthegap”.

Freelance graphic designer for almost 20 years, Jon is also a talented musician, playing with as much ease and pleasure in the Azian Z (Japanese punk karaoke), as well as for the Coterie (children’s show brought by the members of the Têtes Raides) or even Le Peuple de l’Herbe.
In love with the American underground culture, he escapes regularly to the United States to bring back influences, sounds and photographs.

Just recently Ando added sculpture to his large spread of media and started working on a series of green or orange sculptureswhich were inspired by his Japanese popular culture. In this way, the cat, which in Japan is a lucky charm in the form of the Maneki-Neko, comes in a variety of traditionnal Japanese figures such as the Samurai or the Sumo. He translates this theme in a very modern way.
The shiny and smooth materials, the bright colors, the sharp but rounded shapes of Hiro Ando’s sculptures take us to the world of Mangas in which the artist’s generation grew up in. It all begins with her contagious « joie de vivre », energized looks, iconoclastic personality and undeniable stamina. The young but well-established artist Chloé B. aka Chloé Bolloré is full of creative ideas. She continues the work of her elders, re-inventing the great artistic movements of the 20th century, by adding her own touch, which is both original and irresistible.
Thus, her mosaic collages of mini photos inspired by the post-pointillists and optical art masters, or her collages of iconic “mainstream” brand logos and cartoon characters, taking up all the codes of childhood and pop culture.
Perpetually looking for new ideas and concepts, Chloé B. was dreaming for her playful and graphic collages, full of colorful energy, to come to life in the tradition of pop-art masters. She then used again the “mouth”, “heart” and “candy” theme so that each one of the 80 parts of the piece exists individually as a laser cut. In order to restore all the power and the shades of the colors, the art printing process is a « sublimation », making it be an everlasting piece of art.
The rendering is spectacular, each artwork becoming a bas-relief wall sculpture in cut metal, with a 7 layers 3D effect : each brand logo, character or onomatopoeia is then sublimated.
Every sculpture is an original edition of 8 + 4 exs, each one numbered and hand-signed by the artist.

Joy is a French contemporary artist born in 1981 in Martigues, a city located in south-eastern France. She became known for her captivating Popy Can series of sculptures.
Joy, who studied fashion design, was interested in art from an early age. Working as a fashion designer and stylist, and selling her products toy major retailers, she decided to devote herself to her true passion, becoming an artist. For past several years, the French artist has been transforming simple tin cans into attractive sculptures.
Joy remodeled the tin can, product and universal symbol of our society, thus becoming a bronze sculpture, dressing it in bright colors and multiplying references to pop art and rock culture.

En 2012, el artista-escultor presentó Story of LUXURY STONE en el Museo de Arte Okgwa de Corea del Sur. Esta exposición puso de manifiesto su interés por el significado y el simbolismo del bolso de lujo, explotando el potencial estético de la piedra. En esta exposición, 45 obras proponen cuestionar la naturaleza del objeto y del ser humano y la estructura de los mecanismos sociales en la elaboración de los deseos contemporáneos. Estas Luxury Stones, aunque en un principio parezcan parodias de bolsos chinos falsificados de grandes marcas como Louis Vuitton o Chanel, van mucho más allá de una simple imitación o representación de estos objetos. Por las propias características de estos objetos de piedra, la función útil de la bolsa desaparece. Al perder su carácter funcional, el objeto se transforma en un símbolo, un icono. Sólo se mantiene el deseo de poseer, ligado a la identidad visual única de cada marca. Aquí se sublima la piedra, por un lado pulida y grabada como si se tratara de una joya, y por otro lado conservando su carácter bruto e intemporal propio de la tradición estatuaria. El desvío se refiere, pues, tanto al objeto de lujo moderno como al material. El peso de estas piedras de lujo sugiere tanto el carácter masivo y fetichista del consumo de marcas de lujo en Asia, como los sacrificios humanos que conlleva el proceso de producción y adquisición de bienes de lujo. Estas obras cuestionan la persistencia silenciosa, a través de la moderna economía de mercado, de toda una tradición de limitaciones e imperativos ligados al éxito social.

The choice of the color black wanted by the artist for several reasons comes to accentuate the reflection of the light on the work (the color black is the color that we find under the mirror, it is also the color of mourning, it is the most delicate color to realize because it has the property to reflect and to make very visible the least defect, and here, vis-a-vis the sculpture, the defect is well and truly the Man.

Born in 1983, Philippe ECHAROUX has been practicing street art for eight years not only in France but also in international cities and countryside.
Totally innovative, the artist proposes a new way to practice street art: he never degrades or damages. Practicing a Street Art 2.0, his desire to expose to the largest number leads him to create ephemeral works, hanging his photographs on the walls of cities.
Pushing this logic to the extreme, he leads a new project “Painting with Light”. It is about projecting on the walls of monuments, his photo works. The artist has exhibited his light projections in Barcelona, Marseille, Paris, Cannes during the festival, in Havana during the contemporary art biennial and in Val d’Isère and Cran Montana on the snow-covered mountains. Philippe ECHAROUX selects with precision and method the time and place of the projection in order to obtain the best effect. Always going beyond his limits, he now projects on all supports: the walls of a monument, a bridge, a facade, a tree or ruins.
In 2016, the artist took on new challenges with the projection of his photographs on the trees of the Amazon forest or in the desert of Namibia.
The works last only a few dozen minutes but the artist immortalizes them with his camera. These photographs are then worked on wood or printed in silver, allowing the artist to exhibit them in many galleries.

El artista ha expuesto sus proyecciones de luz en Barcelona, Marsella, París, Cannes durante el festival, en La Habana durante la bienal de arte contemporáneo y en Val d’Isère y Cran Montana sobre las montañas nevadas. Desde hace diez años trabaja con sentido de la responsabilidad en sus obras, siempre fiel al estilo figurativo de las mismas, procurando que no se conviertan en un objeto de moda o en la satisfacción de una tendencia momentánea. Su lenguaje y sus temas han permanecido siempre constantes e íntimamente ligados a su visión y a su gusto por una sensibilidad compleja, aunque sus elecciones artísticas -figuras femeninas, combinaciones de colores, uso del lacado, repetición con un mínimo de variación de los temas- hacen que se le califique a menudo, de forma un tanto errónea, de artista pop.
Es cierto que los sujetos preferidos de Grassi son delicados y atractivos, pero también son enérgicos y decididos.
